Chapter 68.--ROADS AND BRIDGES
PART I.--ROADS
Article 5.--COUNTY AND TOWNSHIP ROADS

      68-548.   Penalties for violations by officers.Any officer, who shall violate any of the provisions of this act;or who shall fail to perform his duty as required by this act, shall bedeemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof before anycourt of competent jurisdiction shall be fined a sum not less than $25,nor more than $1,000, and shall forfeit his office, and it shall be apart of the judgment of the said court before whom the case is triedthat such person be removed from office, and that he stand committed tothe county jail until the fine and costs of the prosecution are paid.
