Chapter 72.--SCHOOLS
Article 10.--GENERAL PROVISIONS RELATING TO SCHOOL DISTRICTS

      72-1033.   Control of school property; library services.The school board shall have control of the school-district property,including the school building or buildings, schoolgrounds and all buildingsand structures erected thereon, all furniture, fittings, and equipment,such as books, maps, charts, and instructional apparatus. The school boardmay open the schoolhouse for public purpose, under such rules andregulations as the board shall adopt. The board may enter into contractswith public library boards to authorize such boards to use the libraryfacilities of the school district to supplement the facilities of thepublic library; make such rules and regulations relating to such schoollibraries as they shall deem necessary; and appoint librarians.
