Chapter 72.--SCHOOLS
Article 21.--SCHOOL LANDS

      72-2127.   Arkansas river islands; relinquishment of state rights.The state of Kansas disclaims any interest in, and herebyrelinquishes all right, title and claim in and to any and all islands inthe Arkansas river that have been heretofore surveyed under and byvirtue of the government of the United States of America and to which apatent has been issued by the United States government, and to a bonafide settler who settled upon and improved the same pursuant to the lawsof the United States.
