Chapter 72.--SCHOOLS Article 44.--CAREER TECHNICAL EDUCATION

72-4408. Acceptance of federal act; state boardto preparestate plan and supervise administration.(a) The state of Kansas hereby accepts the provisions and benefits ofthe Carl D. Perkinscareer and technical education act of2006, andacts amendatorythereof and supplemental thereto. The state board of regents shall be andherebyis designatedasthe sole agency for supervision of the administration ofthe state plan for career and technical education. The state board isauthorized to prepare, from time to time amend, and administer the stateplan for career and technical education as provided inthe above cited federalact.

(b) The state plan for career and technicaleducation, prepared and adopted pursuantto the provisions of this section,shallcontinue to be effective and shall be deemed to be the duly adopted state planfor career and technical education inKansas, untilrevised, amended, revoked or nullified pursuant to law.
