Chapter 72.--SCHOOLS
Article 44.--CAREER TECHNICAL EDUCATION

      72-4419.   Vocational education fund; source of payment of tuition;transfers from general fund authorized, when.The school district in which a student is enrolled shallpay the tuition ofsuch student to attend any vocational education course or program when suchattendance is approved as provided in K.S.A. 72-4418, and amendmentsthereto, from its vocationaleducation fund, except that any board receiving funds under an agreementunder K.S.A. 72-4421, and amendments thereto, shall pay such tuitionwhen the student is enrolled in aschool district which is a party to the agreement if the agreementso provides. In the case of a school district which is not aparty to an agreement under K.S.A. 72-4421, and amendmentsthereto, should there be insufficient orno moneys in the vocational education fund to pay such tuition, theboard of education shall transfer from the general fund to the vocationaleducation fund such amount as will satisfy the insufficiency.
