Chapter 72.--SCHOOLS
Article 68.--STATE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR STUDENTS AT INSTITUTIONS OF POSTSECONDARY EDUCATION

      72-6811.   Awarding state scholarships; limitation; determination ofequivalent of semesters.A state scholarship may be awarded to any qualified state scholar enrolledat any eligible institution. A state scholar maybe awarded a state scholarship for not more than eightsemesters of undergraduate study or the equivalent thereof, except that astate scholar may be awarded a state scholarship for not more than anadditional two semesters of study or the equivalent thereof when therequirements of the educational program in which the state scholar isenrolled include the completion of a fifth year of study. The board ofregents shall determine the equivalent of a semester when anyprogram period or all or part of the terms for which a state scholaris awarded a state scholarship are not semesters.
