Chapter 72.--SCHOOLS
Article 82.--ORGANIZATION, POWERS AND FINANCES OF BOARDS OF EDUCATION

      72-8255.   Full-day kindergarten; fees.(a) In order to pay the cost of providing full-day kindergarten, a schooldistrict may impose a fee to enroll in full-day kindergarten.

      (b)   Nothing in this section shall be construed as requiring school districtsto provide full-day kindergarten nor as requiring any pupil to attend full-daykindergarten.

      (c)   As used in this section:

      (1)   "School district" means any school district which offers both full-dayand half-day kindergarten.

      (2)   "Cost" means that portion of the cost of providing full-day kindergartenwhich is not paid by the state.
