72-9701. Purpose and intention of act.It is the purpose and intention of this act to provide ameans whereby the state in cooperation with institutions of postsecondary educationcan provide a positive educational experience in Kansas for Kansas honorstudents so as to encourage such students to remain in Kansas for theattainment of their educational goals and for the fulfillment of their career aspirations.
