Chapter 9.--BANKS AND BANKING; TRUST COMPANIES
Article 21.--TRUST COMPANIES

      9-2101.   Issuing certificate of authority as bank to trust company authorized to accept deposits; when. Any trust company authorized to receive deposits under K.S.A. 17-2025, prior to its repeal by this act, shall be issued a certificate of authority by the state bank commissioner upon surrendering such trust company's charter and complying with the provisions of K.S.A. 9-804, and amendments thereto, and shall thereafter be subject to all of the requirements, limitations and terms of the banking code of Kansas.
