Page 1 of 1 62.0503 Validation of acts of certain officers without bonds -- Sunset provision. (1) Any act done, prior to his removal from office, by an officer removed from office pursuant to provisions of KRS 62.990 or other applicable statute for a violation of <br>KRS 62.050 or other bonding statute is legalized, as against the Commonwealth, to <br>the extent that the act may have been invalid solely because of failure to file the <br>required bond in a timely manner. (2) Any act done by an officer subject to removal from office pursuant to the provisions of KRS 62.990 or other applicable statute for a violation of KRS 62.050 or other <br>bonding statute is legalized, as against the Commonwealth, to the extent that the act <br>may have been invalid solely because of failure to file the required bond, or to file <br>the required bond in a timely manner. (3) The provisions of this section shall apply to any covered act done by any officer currently in office. (4) The provisions of this section shall expire on December 31, 1999.
