146.505 Dedication or acquisition of land for nature preserve. All units, departments, agencies, and instrumentalities of the Commonwealth, including, <br>but not limited to, counties, municipalities, public corporations, boards, commissions, <br>colleges, and universities, are empowered and urged to dedicate as nature preserves <br>suitable areas or portions of areas within their jurisdiction; all counties and municipalities <br>within the Commonwealth shall have the authority to acquire any interest in real property <br>for the purposes described in KRS 146.410 to 146.530.
