Page 1 of 1 164.915 Optional plan for medical education for family practice and general practice. The Colleges of Medicine at the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville <br>shall submit to the Council on Postsecondary Education a joint plan which defines an <br>optional course of medical education for family practice and general practice physicians <br>in a period of six (6) years following completion of secondary school. Family practice <br>residency programs shall be completed in the two (2) years subsequent to the completion <br>of medical education. Effective: May 30, 1997 <br>History: Amended 1997 (1st Extra. Sess.) Ky. Acts ch. 1, sec. 127, effective May 30, 1997. -- Created 1990 Ky. Acts ch. 482, sec. 18, effective July 13, 1990.
