165.070 Condemnation, purchase or gift of land. The board of trustees of a municipal university in a city of the first class may acquire, by <br>purchase or gift, lands and improvements for the purpose of expanding the plant and <br>extending the usefulness of the university, and when unable to agree with the owner of <br>land and improvements necessary for the purposes of the university may proceed to <br>condemn the land and improvements.
