165.070 Condemnation, purchase or gift of land. The board of trustees of a municipal university in a city of the first class may acquire, by <br>purchase or gift, lands and improvements for the purpose of expanding the plant and <br>extending the usefulness of the university, and when unable to agree with the owner of <br>land and improvements necessary for the purposes of the university may proceed to <br>condemn the land and improvements. The condemnation proceedings shall be conducted <br>in the manner provided in the Eminent Domain Act of Kentucky. History: Amended 1976 Ky. Acts ch. 140, sec. 70. -- Recodified 1942 Ky. Acts ch. 208, sec. 1, effective October 1, 1942, from Ky. Stat. sec. 2948a-6a.
