205.830 Legislative intent. It is the intent of KRS 205.835 to assist the cabinet in ascertaining eligibility of applicants <br>for or recipients of benefits under programs administered by the cabinet and to prevent <br>abuse of such programs by imposing a public duty upon all banks, savings and loan <br>associations, credit unions, and other financial institutions to cooperate with the cabinet <br>and to disclose financial data pertinent to such applicants or recipients or members of <br>their respective households.
