§6651. Shellfish Fund
1. Fees to be paid into fund. Fees from shellfish licenses, mussel hand-raking and boat licenses, shellfish transportation licenses and wholesale seafood licenses must be paid into the Shellfish Fund as follows:
A. Seventy-four dollars and seventy-five cents from a commercial shellfish license; [2009, c. 213, Pt. G, §16 (NEW).]
B. One hundred forty-nine dollars and fifty cents from a mussel boat license; [2009, c. 213, Pt. G, §16 (NEW).]
C. Seventy-four dollars and seventy-five cents from a mussel hand-raking license; [2009, c. 213, Pt. G, §16 (NEW).]
D. Two hundred ninety-nine dollars from a shellfish transportation license; [2009, c. 213, Pt. G, §16 (NEW).]
E. Ninety-seven dollars and fifty cents from a shellfish transportation supplemental license; [2009, c. 213, Pt. G, §16 (NEW).]
F. Two hundred fifty dollars and twenty-five cents from a wholesale seafood license; and [2009, c. 213, Pt. G, §16 (NEW).]
G. Forty-eight dollars and seventy-five cents from a wholesale seafood supplemental license. [2009, c. 213, Pt. G, §16 (NEW).]
The Shellfish Fund may receive any other money, including any other gift, grant or other source of revenue.

2. Uses of fund. The commissioner may expend the money in the Shellfish Fund for management, enforcement, restoration, development and conservation of shellfish and mussels in the intertidal zone or coastal waters and for the costs associated with the Shellfish Advisory Council established by Title 5, section 12004-I, subsection 57-G.

3. Nonlapsing fund. The Shellfish Fund shall not lapse.
