Chapter 1666-A: APPOINTMENT OF RECEIVERS

§7936. Liability of receiver

No person may bring suit against a receiver appointed under section 7933 without first securing leave of the court. Except in cases of gross negligence or intentional wrongdoing, the receiver is liable in his official capacity only and any judgment rendered shall be satisfied out of receivership assets.
