Chapter 16: AGRICULTURAL EMPLOYEES LABOR RELATIONS ACT HEADING: PL 1997, C. 472, §1 (NEW)

§1323. Rights of agricultural employees; organization, collective bargaining

Agricultural employees have the right to self-organize; to form, join or assist labor organizations; to bargain collectively through representatives of their own choosing; and to engage in other concerted activities for the purpose of collective bargaining or other mutual aid or protection. Agricultural employees also have the right to refrain from such activities except to the extent that this right may be affected by an agreement requiring membership in a labor organization as a condition of employment as authorized in section 1324, subsection 1, paragraph B. [1997, c. 472, §1 (NEW).]
