(a) In general.- In this subtitle the following words have the meaning indicated.
(b) Director.- "Director" means the director of the personnel merit system.
(c) Employee.- "Employee" means a person who is employed in a position that is subject to the personnel merit system.
(d) Personnel merit system.- "Personnel merit system" means the personnel merit system for the office of the clerk of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, as created and provided for under this subtitle.
