§ 22-230. Selling or using lamps or equipment.
 

(a)  Approval of type of Administrator - Sale.- A person may not have for sale, sell, or offer for sale for use on or as a part of the equipment of a motor vehicle, trailer, semitrailer, or pole trailer any headlamp, auxiliary or fog lamp, rear lamp, signal lamp, or reflector, which reflector or lamp is required under this title, or parts of any of the foregoing, which tend to change the original design or performance. 

(b)  Approval of type of Administrator - Use.- A person may not use on a motor vehicle, trailer, semitrailer, or pole trailer a headlamp, auxiliary or fog lamp, rear lamp, signal lamp, or reflector, which reflector or lamp is required under this title, or parts of any of the foregoing, which tend to change the original design or performance. 

(c)  Change of original design or performance; mounting and adjustment.- A person may not use on any motor vehicle, trailer, semitrailer, or pole trailer any lamp or reflector that tends to change its original design or performance in violation of regulations adopted by the Administrator.
