Section 14. Each register shall keep a book, each page of which shall be divided into six columns, with the following headings:

He shall enter therein, in the order of receipt, all deeds and instruments left for record, and all copies left as cautions, noting in the first column the day, hour and minute when received and the other items in the appropriate columns; and every deed or instrument shall be considered as recorded at the time so noted. Papers received for record outside the hours fixed under section eleven shall be entered as of the first minute of the next succeeding business hour.
