The department of public health shall make available to all veterans, physicians, other health care providers, and other persons at high risk for hepatitis C, educational materials, in written and electronic forms, on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of hepatitis C. The materials shall include the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control, and any other person or entity having knowledge on hepatitis C, including the American Liver Foundation, and shall be written in terms which are understandable by members of the general public.
