Statutes > Massachusetts > PARTI > TITLEXVIII > CHAPTER125 > Section18Section 18. The Bridgewater state hospital shall be part of the Massachusetts Correctional Institution, Bridgewater. The commissioner, with the approval of the commissioner of mental health, shall appoint a physician as medical director of the Bridgewater state hospital. The medical director shall have the care of the inmates thereof and govern them in accordance with rules and regulations approved by the commissioner.
