Section 48. Sections thirty-two to forty-seven, inclusive, shall be in force in any city or town which accepts said sections in the manner provided in the following section or has accepted corresponding provisions of earlier laws in the manner provided therein and has not on a resubmission under section fifty voted against said sections.
