Section 8A. The chief justice shall be provided with suitable offices. He may, subject to appropriation, appoint an executive secretary and such clerks, assistants or other personnel as he may require and may make such other expenditures for printing, transportation of papers and documents and for other expenses as are incidental to his duties. He may remove said executive secretary at his pleasure and define his duties.
