MICHIGAN LEGISLATIVE RETIREMENT SYSTEM ACT (EXCERPT)

38.1017c “Legislator” defined.

Sec. 17c.

“Legislator” means a person duly elected and serving in the Michigan house of representatives or the Michigan senate.
