388.1651c Reimbursement for percentage of special education and special education transportation costs.

Sec. 51c.

As required by the court in the consolidated cases known as Durant v State of Michigan, Michigan supreme court docket no. 104458-104492, from the allocation under section 51a(1), there is allocated each fiscal year for 2009-2010 and for 2010-2011 the amount necessary, estimated at $702,500,000.00 for 2009-2010 and estimated at $732,100,000.00 for 2010-2011, for payments to reimburse districts for 28.6138% of total approved costs of special education excluding costs reimbursed under section 53a, and 70.4165% of total approved costs of special education transportation. Funds allocated under this section that are not expended in the state fiscal year for which they were allocated, as determined by the department, may be used to supplement the allocations under sections 22a and 22b in order to fully fund those calculated allocations for the same fiscal year.

388.1651c Reimbursement for percentage of special education and special education transportation costs.

Sec. 51c.

As required by the court in the consolidated cases known as Durant v State of Michigan, Michigan supreme court docket no. 104458-104492, from the allocation under section 51a(1), there is allocated each fiscal year for 2009-2010 and for 2010-2011 the amount necessary, estimated at $702,500,000.00 for 2009-2010 and estimated at $732,100,000.00 for 2010-2011, for payments to reimburse districts for 28.6138% of total approved costs of special education excluding costs reimbursed under section 53a, and 70.4165% of total approved costs of special education transportation. Funds allocated under this section that are not expended in the state fiscal year for which they were allocated, as determined by the department, may be used to supplement the allocations under sections 22a and 22b in order to fully fund those calculated allocations for the same fiscal year.
