Act 83 of 1887
457.511 Insurance business.
Sec. 11.
Corporations formed in pursuance of this act shall not be considered as engaged in the business of life insurance, nor shall they be subject to the provision of the statutes relating to life insurance or mutual benefit companies, associations or corporations.
