136A.1201 MINNESOTA PROMISE.

Subdivision 1.Financial aid policy.

It is the policy of the legislature to provide sufficient financial aid funding so that tuition and required fees to attend a public two-year college for a student from a low-income family are covered by state financial aid when combined with federal and other sources of aid.

Subd. 2.Informational materials.

The Office of Higher Education must prepare and distribute materials under section 136A.87 to promote the Minnesota Promise, the availability of financial aid, and the benefits of higher education.
