144E.05 GENERAL AUTHORITY.

Subdivision 1.Grants or gifts.

The board may accept grants or gifts of money, property, or services from a person, a public or private entity, or any other source for an emergency medical health purpose within the scope of its statutory authority.

Subd. 2.Contracts.

The board may enter into contractual agreements with a person or public or private entity for the provision of statutorily prescribed emergency medical services-related activities by the board. The contract shall specify the services to be provided and the amount and method of reimbursement for the contracted services. Funds generated in a contractual agreement made pursuant to this section are appropriated to the board for purposes of providing the services specified in the contracts.
