7.230. Any compact negotiated by the Missouri boundarycommission shall not be binding or obligatory on the state ofMissouri or its citizens unless and until such compact has beenratified by the state legislatures of the states involved andapproved by the Congress of the United States. The commissionshall provide service as necessary during the period of state andcongressional ratification.
