Expense of serving process--witnesses' fees.

21.170. The sergeant at arms or other officer of each houseof the general assembly is entitled to receive his actualexpenses incurred in the service of all writs and process. Eachwitness attending either house, or a committee thereof, or ajoint meeting of both houses, being summoned, shall have the samefees and traveling allowance as are allowed by law to witnessesfor their attendance before circuit courts of this state, to bepaid as other costs.
