Meeting of committee--quorum--officers, qualifications, expensesand per diem.

21.555. 1. The joint committee on public employeeretirement shall meet within ten days after its creation andorganize by selecting a chairman and a vice chairman, one of whomshall be a member of the senate and the other a member of thehouse of representatives.

2. The committee shall regularly meet at least quarterly.

3. A majority of the members of the committee shallconstitute a quorum.

4. The members of the committee shall serve withoutcompensation but shall be reimbursed for actual and necessaryexpenses incurred in the performance of their official duties.
