Legislative library, material available to whom--procuring informationfrom other state agencies.

23.060. The material, including books and other publicationsof the research library maintained by the committee, is availableto the members of the general assembly. All officers of thestate, all departments, commissions and bureaus of the state, andall persons connected therewith, the University of Missouri, theteachers' colleges and all agencies of the state which aresupported in whole or in part by state funds shall give thecommittee, or its duly authorized representatives, completeaccess to their records and full information and all reasonableassistance in any matter of research or investigation which, inthe judgment of the committee, requires recourse to them or todata within their knowledge or control; but this section does notcompel the disclosure of any records or information which isdeclared to be privileged or confidential by any other law ofthis state, unless the committee is specifically authorized toprocure the information by a concurrent resolution adopted by thegeneral assembly.
