May sell such lands and execute deed.

26.050. Whenever any property is bid off by him for thestate, he shall have the power to sell the same to any person orpersons desiring to buy the same from the state, on such termsand conditions as he may think wise and conducive to the bestinterests of the state, and on behalf of the state, to executeproper deeds therefor to the purchaser or purchasers. Such deedor deeds executed by him shall be countersigned by the secretaryof state, and have thereto attached the great seal of the state,and shall be by him duly acknowledged before some officerauthorized to take acknowledgments of deeds.
