Member of board or commission who moves out of state deemed to havevacated position.

26.301. Except as otherwise specifically provided by law, all membersof boards and commissions appointed by the governor shall, at the time oftheir appointment, be residents of the state of Missouri. Except asotherwise specifically provided by law, members of boards and commissionsappointed by the governor who move from the state during their term on saidboards and commissions shall be deemed to have vacated their position onsaid boards and commissions, and the governor shall appoint a person to theunexpired term as provided by law.
