Salaries to be paid, how and when.

33.100. The salaries of all elective and appointive officersand employees of the state shall be paid out of the statetreasury, in semimonthly or monthly installments as designated bythe commissioner of administration. The accounts and names ofthe officers and employees shall be presented to the commissionerof administration and a warrant therefor upon the state treasuryshall be issued to be paid out of the appropriation made for suchpurpose. The accounts of the officers and employees shall bestated in their names, respectively, and the correctness thereofshall be certified to by the officers, respectively, in whoseemployment they are.
