Departments to report supplies on hand, records of purchase.

34.120. Each department shall make such reports of supplies on hand,or which may be needed, as the commissioner of administration may direct.All reports, bids, specifications and contracts, and all records ofpurchases and sales of any kind, made by the commissioner of administrationshall be maintained by the commissioner of administration and shall be opento inspection by the public as prescribed in section 610.021, RSMo. Afterhaving kept any papers or records referred to in this section for a periodof five years the commissioner of administration may destroy or otherwisedispose of said records.
