Rating of examination--notice of results--correction in rating doesnot invalidate previous appointment.

36.200. The methods for rating the various parts of theexaminations and the minimum satisfactory grade shall bedetermined by the regulations. Each person who takes anyexamination shall be given written notice as to whether he passedor failed the examination, and he shall be entitled to inspecthis ratings and examination papers, but examination papers shallnot be open to the general public. A manifest error in rating anexamination which affects the relative ranking of persons shallbe corrected if called to the attention of the director withinthirty days after the establishment of the register, but suchcorrection shall not invalidate any appointment previously madefrom such a register unless it is established that the error wasmade in bad faith and with intent to deprive a person ofcertification.
