Failure of employee to testify--penalty.

36.410. If any employee in a position subject to this lawshall willfully refuse or fail to appear before any court orjudge, any legislative committee, or any officer, board or bodyauthorized to conduct any hearing or inquiry, or having appearedshall refuse to testify or answer any question relating to theaffairs or government of the state or the conduct of any stateofficer or employee on the ground that his testimony or answerswould tend to incriminate him, or shall refuse to waive immunityfrom prosecution on account of any matter about which he may beasked to testify at any such hearing or inquiry, he shall forfeithis position and shall not be eligible for appointment to anyposition under the provisions of this chapter.
