37.090. The moneys received by the state from the sale ofsurplus property shall be deposited in the state treasury to thecredit of the "Missouri State Surplus Property Clearing Fund",hereby created. The account shall be administered by thecommissioner of administration. When appropriated the funds inthe surplus property clearing account shall be used for thepurpose of paying the costs of conducting surplus property sales.The commissioner of administration shall distribute all fundsreceived in excess of the costs of the sale to the fund whichpurchased the item sold.
