Duties of office.

37.100. 1. The office of administration shall carry on acontinuing examination of the administrative operations of thegovernment of the state for the purpose of recommending, wherenecessary, to the heads of the several administrative agencies inthe executive branch of state government improvements in theorganization and in the technical aspects of the procedures andmethods used by the agencies.

2. To this end the office shall:

(1) Give technical advice on problems of administration,methods and procedures, to the extent that its staff and budgetwill permit, upon request of the head of the agency;

(2) On its own initiative or at the direction of thecommissioner of administration or the governor recommendimprovements in administration, methods and procedures to anadministrative agency.
