Immunity from liability, when.

37.730. 1. Any employee or an unpaid volunteer of the office shallbe treated as a representative of the office. No representative of theoffice shall be held liable for good faith performance of his or herofficial duties under the provisions of sections 37.700 to 37.730 and suchrepresentative shall be immune from suit for the good faith performance ofsuch duties. Every representative of the office shall be considered astate employee under section 105.711, RSMo.

2. No reprisal or retaliatory action shall be taken against anyrecipient or employee of the departments or courts for any communicationmade or information given to the office. Any person who knowingly orwillfully violates the provisions of this subsection is guilty of a class Amisdemeanor.
