Special courts-martial, jurisdiction--punishment--exceptions.

40.060. Special courts-martial shall have jurisdiction totry persons subject to sections 40.005 to 40.490, exceptcommissioned officers for any offense made punishable by sections40.005 to 40.490 and may, under such limitations as the governormay prescribe, adjudge any of the following punishments:

(1) A fine of not more than one hundred dollars;

(2) Forfeiture of pay and allowances for a period notexceeding six months;

(3) A reprimand;

(4) Reduction of a noncommissioned officer to any lowerenlisted grade;

(5) A bad conduct discharge; or

(6) Any combination of these punishments; and

(7) Costs.
