Contemptuous words, used against certain officials--court-martial.

40.280. Any person subject to sections 40.005 to 40.490 whouses contemptuous words against the President of the UnitedStates, Vice President of the United States, Congress, Secretaryof Defense, or a secretary of a department, the governor of thestate of Missouri, the Missouri general assembly or the adjutantgeneral of the state of Missouri, the governor or the legislatureof any state, territory or other possession of the United Statesin which he is on duty or present shall be punished as acourt-martial may direct.
