Criminal history information to be available to qualified persons andorganizations.

43.531. For the protection of children, all criminal historyinformation, in the possession or the control of the Missouricriminal records repository, except criminal intelligence andinvestigative information, may be made available to qualifiedpersons and organizations for research, evaluative andstatistical purposes under written agreements reasonably designedto ensure the security and confidentiality of the information andthe protection of the privacy interests of the individuals whoare the subjects of the criminal history. Prior to suchinformation being made available, information that uniquelyidentifies the individual must be deleted. Organizationsreceiving such criminal history information shall not reestablishthe identity* of the individual and associate it with the criminalhistory information being provided. The provisions of section610.120, RSMo, shall not apply to depersonalized criminal historyinformation releases for research purposes.
