Security guards, license or permit issued by a municipality validin any municipality in St. Charles County, definition.

71.195. 1. Any license or permit issued by a municipality to aperson in order for such person to seek, obtain or maintain employment as asecurity guard shall be valid in any municipality within a charter countywith a population not exceeding three hundred thousand adjoining anotherfirst class charter county, or by reciprocal agreement between themunicipalities in any other county.

2. For the purposes of this section, the term "security guard" isdefined as any person who is not authorized to carry a firearm and who ispaid to protect the person or property of another, but shall not includelaw enforcement officers or any other public official or employee.
