Vacant nuisance building or structure, building official may petitionfor appointment of receiver (Kansas City).

82.1026. The governing body of any home rule city with more than fourhundred thousand inhabitants and located in more than one county may enactordinances to provide for the building official of the city or anyauthorized representative of the building official to petition the circuitcourt in the county in which a vacant nuisance building or structure islocated for the appointment of a receiver to rehabilitate the building orstructure, to demolish it, or to sell it to a qualified buyer.
