82.150. All wards which may be established by ordinance asaforesaid shall be composed of adjacent and compact territory,and the several wards, at the time of redistricting, shallcontain as nearly an equal number of inhabitants as may bepracticable. The wards shall be numbered consecutively from oneup to the highest number thus established.
