Certain county officers to perform duties for cities,when--compensation.

82.280. In all cities in this state which now have or mayhereafter have more than one hundred thousand inhabitants andless than five hundred thousand inhabitants, it shall be the dutyof the county assessor, collector of the revenue, and the officercharged with the duty of auditor of such county or any of them toperform the services for such city pertaining to like officeswhen required by such city so to do, and such city or cities areauthorized and empowered to require such officers of the countyor any of them to perform the duties for the city pertaining tosuch offices at such times, under such terms, in such manner andfor such compensation as such city may provide.
