Separate records to be kept--open to inspection.

82.370. The license collector shall keep a separate recordor book for each kind of license or tax receipt which he isauthorized to issue, in each of which shall be recorded the namesof all applicants for such licenses, the place at which theapplicant is permitted to conduct the business authorized, if thelicense is for such purpose, otherwise the place of business orresidence of the applicant, and the date of issuance of thelicense, all of which shall be public and open to the inspectionof any citizen; he shall also keep all statements and affidavitsfurnished him in his office for public reference and theconvenience of the officers of such city.
